About KRC Woollens

KRC (Kumaon Regimental Centre) Woollens is a noble rehabilitation initiative of the Kumaon Regiment, dedicated to empowering war widows and dependents of its brave soldiers. Through the production of high-quality handloom woollen products, the project provides meaningful employment and long-term sustenance to these families. Beyond its regimental community, KRC Woollens also uplifts local artisans and weavers, creating a vital source of livelihood for the surrounding population. By supporting over 400 individuals indirectly, it stands as a model of social responsibility, resilience and community welfare.
